The Peggy Glanville-Hicks Address is a forum for ideas relating to the creation and performance of Australian music, delivered each year by an outstanding advocate of Australian music. It aims to challenge the status quo and raise issues of importance in new music.
The annual Address has become one of Australia’s most established and respected events for contemporary practice, providing a platform to express important issues and challenges facing contemporary music today. Due to its positive response within the music community it has been opened to the general public to attend. The Address is the single most important national forum for contemporary music public discourse.
The winner of the Peggy Glanville Hicks Residency will be announced at the Address.
