Award winning pianist Hoang Pham, presents a programme of music by Brahms and Rachmaninoff in a solo recital – the format that is closest to his heart. Hoang Pham is one of Australia’s finest concert pianists having won almost every major award available in the country including the ABC Symphony Australia Young Performer of the Year Award in 2013, Best Australian Pianist at the Sydney International Piano Competition in 2008, and Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition in 2005.
After arriving in Australia from Vietnam as a baby, Hoang began his piano studies at the age of three and a half under the guidance of his father. His studies continued at the Australian National Academy of Music and then in New York at the Manhattan School of Music.
