Baritone Teddy Tahu Rhodes joins the Choir of St James’ conducted by Warren Trevelyan-Jones for an irresistible feast of Christmas music, including works by Finzi, Vaughan Williams and John Rutter and others.
Teddy Tahu Rhodes has established an international career but remains a favourite in Sydney having graced the opera, concert hall and recital stages performing a diverse repertoire. He has performed with, among others, the opera companies of San Francisco and New York, at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich and Théâtre-du-Châtelet in Paris, the Welsh National Opera and Scottish Opera.
Recital appearances include concerts with the Australian Chamber Orchestra and colleagues David Hobson and Sharolyn Kimmorley; symphonic appearances include Messiah with Cantillation and the Orchestra of the Antipodes and more recently, Beethoven’s Symphony No 9 with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and Vladimir Ashkenazy.
