Sydney Consort Showcases Telemann And Handel
The Sydney Consort’s programme Musical Friends is a reunion of composer colleagues and friends. The concert features the two most predominant musical figures of the eighteenth century – contemporaries Telemann and Handel and showcases their association and friendship.
The Sydney Consort comprising Stan w Kornel playing baroque violin & viola d’amore with Monika Kornel at the harpsichord, welcomes back our soloists soprano Josie Ryan and London-based Jane Downer on baroque oboe in this exquisite tribute to these exceptional composers.
