Sydney Youth Orchestra Plays Classics In The Park

Disney themes and pop music feature with classical favourites when the Sydney Youth Orchestra plays Classics in the Park, a concert for all ages, returning after a popular inaugural event in 2017.

Children are encouraged to get up close to the instruments, in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. They will learn how an orchestra works and get to explore the instruments during the breaks. Included in the program are Disney block busters, favourites from musicals like The  Phantom of the Opera and “real” classical music

Families are encouraged to pack a picnic and bring along all generations – and even the four-legged furry members – and enjoy the beautiful sounds of orchestra music against the verdant backdrop of the park.
