The Australia Piano Quartet: Senses & Sensibilities
The Australia Piano Quartet presents Senses & Sensibilities which features the music of Mozart, R Strauss with the premiere of a new collaboration between APQ violinist and medical doctor, Rebecca Chan and inventor, speaker and media personality, Dr Jordan Nguyen.
This very special piece called Whispering Pectoriloquy is presented by guests Dr Jordan Nguyen and Jessica Irwin. Dr Jordan Nguyen has a Phd in Biomedical Engineering and has created software that allows Jessica Irwin, who was born with a high level of cerebral palsy to both compose and perform this special piece with the Quartet.
Dr Nguyen does a lot of work with those affected by Cerebral Palsy and his two part documentary, Becoming Superhuman is midway through broadcast on ABC1’s Catalyst.
