The Metropolitan Orchestra – Mozart,Schumann and Vine
The Metropolitan Orchestra launches into 2014 with the first of its Met Concerts, featuring the orchestra’s Principal Flute Svetlana Yaroslavskaya as soloist in Vine’s Pipe Dreams concerto for Flute and Orchestra . Also on the programme conducted by Sarah-Grace Williams, Mozart’s Symphony no 31 (Paris), and Schumann’s Symphony no 3 (Rhenish).
TMOs Met Concerts feature the full complement of the orchestra’s musicians as well as leading Australian soloists and composers. In 2014, all TMO’s Met Concerts will be performed at the Eugene Goossens Hall of the ABC Centre in Ultimo.
