One of the most popular children’s work in the classical orchestral repertoire, Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf enchants, entertains and educates young music lovers.
The Metropolitan Orchestra (TMO) performs this amazing musical journey with Peter and his Grandfather, the Bird, Cat, Duck, the Hunters and of course the big, bad, Wolf. During this interactive Babies’ Proms performance, the young audience members will be introduced to each of the musical instruments that represent the different characters of this timeless story.
Presented by effervescent children’s entertainer Tyran Parke and conducted by Sarah-Grace Williams previously of the Sydney Opera House Baby Proms, this is a chance to give your children a fun and engaging musical experience where they can get the unique opportunity to get up close to their favourite instruments of the orchestra.
