The Proms Come to Willoughby
The Willoughby Symphony has announced that it will perform a special one-hour twilight concert modelled on the Last Night of the Proms.
Chief Conductor and Artistic Director, Dr Nicholas Milton will conduct the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra and Choir, along with special guest solo violinist Josephine Chung, in a rousing program of classics featuring favourites like the Dambusters March, Elgar’s beloved Pomp and Circumstance March (Land of Hope and Glory), Handel’s Zadok the Priest and Parry’s Jerusalem.
“The twilight concert will be a delightful opportunity for those who wish to experience the excitement of a traditional Proms concert in a special one hour event,” said Dr Nicholas Milton.
