The Wagner Society opens a year of celebrations
The Wagner Society of New South Wales launches a year of celebrating the bicentenary of Richard Wagner’s birth with the first of a major series of events.
Soprano Lisa Harper-Brown and bass Warwick Fyfe are joined by pianist Stephen Mould to present When We First Met, an afternoon of arias, duets and leider by Wagner, Richard Strauss,Sergei Rachmanninov and Franz Schubert.
The concert is followed by ‘Noel nibbles and festive tipples”.
Tickets: $45/$40 for members of the Wagner Society in NSW.
