Three World Premieres From ELISION
Australian new music ensemble ELISION, will perform two Sydney concerts at Carriageworks in March. The concerts feature different programmes and will include three world premieres.
Both performances represent a younger generation of composers for whom sound is a living force to be choreographed and sculpted. Exhilarating and rich in ideas, these explorations affirm the immediacy and richness of music as a contemporary language.
The concert on Tuesday 18 March conducted by Carl Rosman will include works by Liza Lim, Timothy McCormack, Aaron Cassidy, Matthew Sergeant and Richard Barrett.
The second concert on Wednesday 19 March will feature the work of Dmitri Kourliandski, Ann Cleare, Luke Paulding, Timothy O’Dwyer and Richard Barrett.
