Omega Ensemble’s CoLAB Presents Five World Premieres In ‘New Now’

Omega Ensemble celebrates bold ideas and raw musical talent, in New Now, its presentation of five world premiere works from a new generation of Australian composers.

Developed in collaboration with the Ensemble over a nine-month mentorship, five of Australia’s most ambitious young composers will premiere groundbreaking new works as the final showcase to the CoLAB: Composer Accelerator Program. New Now marks the program’s first annual showcase and makes a convincing argument for the future of Australian music, featuring world premiere works by Alex Turley (VIC), Chloe Sinclair (NSW), William Gardiner (NSW), Angus Davison (NSW) and Lauren McCormick (SA).
