Led and programmed by Lanneke Jones, River City Voices, will perform a lively program of music drawn from the cultures, languages and people of River City Voices and Parramatta. This is a celebration of the many festive traditions that all live and thrive in our wonderful city.
River City Christmas: Peace and Light draws on a variety of music from Bach to Australian ocmposer Ruth Mccall, Britten to works in Ukranian, Arabic and Hindi all celebrating what it is to live, celebrate and sing in Parramatta. Performed in the sublime acoustic of St Patrick’s Cathedral join us to celebrate what makes Christmas in Parramatta unlike anywhere else.
