The Early Music Collective Sydney, presents El Palacio Español, an evening devoted to the rich and vibrant sound world of Renaissance and Baroque Spain.
The programme features an exceptional range of music by composers including Francisco de la Torre, Juan del Encina, Diego Ortiz and Gaspar Sanz, ranging from expressive vocal works and intricate instrumental pieces to lively and rhythmic dances. It offers a vivid journey through one of the most distinctive musical cultures of the period. The combination of voices and period instruments creates a colourful and engaging sound world.
