Bach Akademie Australia presents The Obligato Sonatas when internationally acclaimed violinist and Bach expert, Australia’s own Madeleine Easton is joined by two of Australia’s most lauded early music specialists Neal Peres Da Costa and Anton Baba in a unique recital of Bach’s much-loved Obligato Sonatas.

Bach Akademie Australia begins its 2022 season 'Bach and the Art of Dialogue' in April, launching four touring concert series covering seven different City and Greater Sydney venues. The April concert includes the magnificent Easter Oratorio with two famous cantatas, BWV 42 and BWV 6.
Bach Akademie Australia led by its Artistic Director, early music specialist and virtuoso violinist, Madeleine Easton, continues its 2022 season with In Bach’s Orbit: the nature and nurture of true genius. Presented in two Sydney concerts also streamed on Australian Digital Concert Hall, the programe celebrates the music of J S Bach and the composers who influenced and inspired him. The performances feature renowned Australian countertenor Russell Harcourt. The first concert will also be livestreamed on Australian Digital Concert Hall.
