Brahms and Piazzolla from ‘Resonance’.
The ensemble Resonance presents The Art of the Piano Trio as violinist Ursula Nelius and cellist Paul Stender from the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra join Resonance pianist Chris Cartner for a programme which will feature music formally written for the piano trio, as well as music arranged for this intimate configuration of instruments.
The programme will include Brahms’ Piano Trio no.1 in B major, op.8 and Piazzolla’s poignant Oblivion.
