Bach Akademie Australia returns to the Sydney concert scene this Easter, launching its 2023 “Music in the Castle of Heaven” season, with concerts in Paddington and Chatswood, featuring JS Bach’s towering Missa Brevis in F BWV 233.
Chanteuse Nadia Piave with Gino Pengue on guitar, mandolin and cittern and Jess Ciampa, voice and percussion will present music for the reflective Easter season , in a beautiful acoustic, featuring the solitary sound of a voice and cittern or guitar with a heartbeat drum, giving us pause for thought, and helping us to celebrate the small miracles of the everyday.
