The Sydney International Piano Competition Heats 2023

Sydney will come alive to the sounds of the piano when the Sydney International Piano Competition begins on 5 July. with heats running till 10 July.

Thirty two of the world’s finest young pianists from 16 countries will travel to Australia to be part of this prestigious contest. Over these five days, the thirty two competitors will play their hearts out for one of twelve places in the semi-finals. 

This year The Sydney will be at two venues. The heats will be held at the Verbrugghen Hall at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and the finals at the Concert Hall of  the Sydney Opera House.
