Alongside the Australian Romantic & Classical Orchestra’s concert Madness &  Confrontation, is the first of the year’s companion education programs, Voyage of Musical Discovery.

Each Voyage invites exceptional guest musicians to join the orchestra on stage, and together they provide listeners with live examples and explanations of the compositional similarities between historical and Australian contemporary works. For the March 27 companion Voyage, entitled ‘Phrasing & Form’, acclaimed singer-songwriter, Lior will join the Australian Romantic & Classical Orchestra and soloists Jacqueline Porter and David Greco to explain and demonstrate the many methods that composers and performers utilise to negotiate phrasing and form in historical as well as Australian contemporary works.
